I don't agree with everything you say in this piece, but I fully understand where you are coming from, Marley. I remain hopeful that America will enter a new era of dismantling racism across all the areas that it rears its ugly head. We had no hope of that happening under the thumb of Trump the Sicko Sociopath. At least with Biden we have a leader who has empathy and a conscience who will tell us the truth. There are millions (?) of White people across America who do not want to go back to the way things were before COVID. We still believe Black Lives Matter and support the cause that will move this country forward on a new path of inclusion. So I am praying that most of your predictions are wrong. As an antiracist who sees the world as it is and wants to make life better for all of us, there is no choice but to carry on in the work of the ancestors before us who have pointed the way and also led the way to all of us recognizing our common humanity and celebrating our beautiful diversity as the God-given gift is is. This 71 year old White lady is in your corner and will give her last breath to save the Soul of America that we lost in 1619, when the first ship carrying future slaves landed on our shores.
